A Talk With Poulsbo Mayor Becky Erickson and City Administrator Bob  Gelder

On Monday, September 22, 2025, the League of Women Voters of Kitsap hosted a live conversation with Poulsbo Mayor Becky Erickson and City Administrator Rob Gelder.  This event was held in the community room of the Kitsap Regional Library Poulsbo branch.

The speakers provided information regarding their roles, separation of powers, and the role of the Poulsbo city council. They also discussed topics impacting the greater Poulsbo area, including growth, affordable housing, economic development, recreational opportunities, human systems support, and physical infrastructure challenges.

Mayor Erickson and City Administrator Gelder also answered questions from the public. Questions were submitted in advance through the League’s website, in person at the event, and asked directly by audience members.
