VoteWA.gov is an easy website for checking your voter registration status in Washington State, sponsored by the WA Secretary of State. All you need is your name and date of birth. You can register to vote and make changes to your address or name. Also, you can check your voting history in the state, your elected officials, your state voter’s guide, ballot drop box locations, and ballot status (i.e. has your ballot for the latest state election been received).

vote411.org is a helpful website for voters, sponsored by the League of Women Voters Education Fund. Enter your address to find your polling place, build your ballot with our online voters’ guide and much more! With our voters’ guide you can see the races on your ballot, compare candidates’ positions side-by-side, and print out a “ballot” indicating your preferences as a reminder. The Kitsap County Auditor’s website contains a wealth of information regarding elections and voting. Some especially useful links:

• Voter Registration. See up-to-date information about registering to vote, changing your address, links to forms, etc.
• Kitsap County Elected Officials. A comprehensive list with contact information of your federal, state, county, and city representatives as well as your school, fire, port, sewer, utility, water, and park & recreation districts.
• Results of the most recent election and results from previous elections. See results of elections in Kitsap County, dating back to 1998. Results are broken down by precinct, so you can see how your neighborhood voted on candidates and issues!
