We envision a democracy where every person has the desire, the right, the knowledge, and the confidence to participate.

Nonpartisanship

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization. We encourage the informed and active participation of citizens in government. The League acts in support of, or in opposition to, selected governmental issues which its members have studied. We do not support or oppose candidates, factions or political parties.

The League of Women Voters of Kitsap is one of 21 local Leagues in Washington state, representing all of Kitsap County.

We invite people of all genders who are 16 years or older to join us.

Candidate Forums

Submit questions for candidates running for State Representative, State Senate, US Representative, and the following Kitsap-wide races: County Commissioner, Assessor, Clerk, Prosecuting Attorney, and Sheriff. We'll also have a forum for the Kitsap PUD proposal that will be on the ballot.
